The Time Server Monitor is used to control and configure a local NTP service. This includes service management, configuration and monitoring.
This tool eases the handling with the NTP service and should be a little helper for the daily work with NTP and time synchronization.
The NTP Time Server Monitor software is available for Windows NT/2000/XP/2003.
This software is currently not tested under the new Windows version, called Windows Vista. But the test will be performed middle-term and i will post the result here.
In fact the software should also run on Windows 9x systems from version 0.9k or greater. I have also removed the dependency to the NTP service. An installed NTP service is no longer mandatory for the operation: so you can overwatch external NTP server from systems without an installed NTP service.
BTW: A NTP service for Windows can be found on the Meinberg NTP download page. It is a nice automatic Windows installer and includes a recent version of the NTP port. The installer will be updated from time to time if a new NTP release is available.
